IDP Events for Faculty and Staff

At Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP), we believe that the well-being of our faculty and staff is central to fostering a productive, positive, and progressive academic environment. Through the Internal Development Program (IDP), organized under the Department of Sports, Recreation & Wellness (DSRW), we conduct a range of wellness, fitness, and team-building activities aimed at empowering our employees beyond the classroom and office spaces. Team-Building & Wellness Sessions These interactive sessions are designed to encourage physical activity, mental relaxation, and departmental bonding. Participants engage in warm-up routines, group challenges, recreational games, and cool-down exercises.
The goal is to relieve stress, improve mood, and build strong interdepartmental relationships — all in a fun and inclusive environment. Aqua Aerobics for Relaxation & Fitness Held at our in-campus swimming facility, aqua aerobics sessions offer a refreshing way for staff and students to stay fit. This low-impact water-based workout combines cardiovascular movement with stress relief, ideal for individuals across all fitness levels. “Healthy Campus” Faculty Cricket Tournaments Promoting a culture of active living, our friendly Box Cricket Tournaments for teaching and non-teaching staff offer a platform for recreational engagement, teamwork, and healthy competition. These matches not only energize participants but also nurture camaraderie across departments. Holistic Wellness Programs Zumba sessions, yoga for mental well-being, meditation practices, and fitness challenges are frequently integrated into our IDP calendar to address the emotional and physical well-being of our university community.
